RN Charge, St. Louis
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center has opportunities for skilled Charge RNs on our St. Louis mobile operations to be responsible for conducting donor registration, screening, phlebotomies and ensuring donor care. This position will also perform Charge functions including assigning staff, supervising donor reactions, and performing administrative duties. Driving company vehicles may be required. Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills preferred. This is a 30+ position working variable hours including days, evenings, and weekends. Must apply for your IL RN License within 90 days of hire, possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by our insurance carrier. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required. Manager, Product Management – Southern Division
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is seeking a full time Manager, Product Management to be responsible for the coordination of all products to designated customers, product inventory levels, and delivery logistics. The home office will be located in either our St. Louis, MO or Springfield, IL locations. Regular travel between our offices in St. Louis, MO; Springfield, IL; and Davenport, IA will be required. The successful candidate with experience in logistics and customer service is preferred. Knowledge of Blood Banking is advantageous.
MANAGER, DONOR CENTERS AND MOBILE OPERATIONS, St. Louis
Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, a non-profit organization serving the St. Louis Metropolitan Community seeks a MANAGER, DONOR CENTERS AND MOBILE OPERATIONS. Must be a board certified registered nurse meeting state license requirements in Missouri or Illinois at hire with ability to obtain the other state license within 3 months. 3-5 years experience in blood center services desired; managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
Key responsibilities:
- Demonstrate professionalism with blood donors, volunteers and staff.
- Provide an example of integrity to create and advance customer service/blood donor loyalty.
- Effectively communicate blood center values, policies and procedures.
- Actively coach and develop technical and customer service skills of our dedicated staff.
- Ensure operations meet local, state and federal regulations.
- Monitor efficiency of fixed sites and mobile operations.
- Must be able to work varied, non-routine hours, including weekends and evenings.
