The Volunteer Fire Department in Charlotte, Iowa will hold a blood drive in support of Adam Cain with Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center from 1 – 6 p.m. Mon., Jan. 21. The blood drive is being held in honor of Adam Cain, of Goose Lake, who was seriously injured in an explosion in Clinton, Iowa on Jan. 5, 2019.
In addition to the blood drive, Charlotte Fire Department is also conducting a “fill the boot” campaign for the Cain family, offering opportunities for supporters to drop off donations for the family during the blood drive.
Donors will also give in memory of Eric Hosette, Fire Chief of the Charlotte Fire Department and Lieutenant with the Clinton Fire Department, who was tragically killed in the Jan. 5 explosion. Window decals, T-shirts, and sweatshirts will also be available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the Hosette Family.
