Over the past three weeks, the Blood Center has been forced to cancel dozens of blood drives (68, and counting) leading to a loss of more than 2200 donations due to record cold tempatures, snow, and ice.

Over the last three weeks, the total impact of weather-related cancellations over the last three weeks now exceeds 2200 donations. This is a combined total of 68 cancelled blood drives (1724 donations) and loss of more than 500 donations due to appointment cancellations and no-shows at our Donor Centers.
