September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Every day, blood transfusions provide a lifeline for pediatric cancer patients by helping treat symptoms of the disease as well as the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. By receiving blood from volunteer donors, pediatric cancer patients can replenish their blood supply and maintain strength for further treatment and recovery.

PRE-HOSPITAL TRANSFUSION
ImpactLife works with emergency medical service providers on pre-hospital transfusion, providing EMS teams with the ability to carry blood components on board air and ground ambulances. Pre-hospital transfusion has been shown to improve patient outcomes when patients can receive a needed unit of blood on the scene of an accident or while en route to the hospital.

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF SAVING LIVES
In 2024, we celebrate 50 Years of Saving Lives. Over the years, we've grown and merged across the Midwest from small, independent, community nonprofits to evolve into ImpactLife. We're still an independent, community nonprofit, only we're not so small. Today, our team is 800+ strong across four states.
Join us in celebrating this year!
