Learn more about our Coronavirus Pandemic Response and COVID-19 Vaccinations. As part of the healthcare community, we are still requiring masks for donors, staff, volunteers and visitors to our facilities and blood drives but will provide updates if this changes. We will provide a mask for those who need one. Appointments are required but can be made the day of donation by contacting us at 800-747-5401.

Davenport, Iowa –Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center will host the inaugural “Corpuscle Shuffle” on the morning of Saturday, April 28.

Funds raised through race entries and sponsorships will support MVRBC’s LifeSavings grants, a program under which MVRBC provides funding to schools that host mobile blood drives. LifeSavings grants can be used to defray expenses for the blood drive, for educational purposes within the school district, for scholarships, or to support approved charitable initiatives.

The 5K and 1-mile run / walk will begin at 8 a.m. at MVRBC’s headquarters in Davenport (5500 Lakeview Pkwy.). For full details, a course map, and link to online registration, see www.bloodcenter.org/5K.
