Adam Munds of RC Fest
We were proud to honor Adam Munds and the entire RC Fest team for 15 incredible years of partnership. Adam's love for RC (remote control) sports has brought people together year after year to make a difference.
As a newborn, he received blood products that helped save his life, and RC Fest, a radio-controlled event run by Adam, is his way of giving back to help others in need.
You may recall Adam's story from a few years ago. Adam and his team raised $39,726 including $5,110 from last Saturday's event. It was Adam's final RC Fest, and we had the chance to present him with a plaque to thank him for all he has done for our mission.

Where else can you donate blood and renew your license in the same visit? Springfield showed us how.
Our blood drive at Our Savior's Lutheran Church and School brought together donors, community members, and Springfield's mobile DMV services for a truly unique event. With support from Ward 5 Alderwoman Lakeisha Purchase and Springfield Associate Board Co-Chair Teresa Tran, it turned a routine blood drive into something special by bringing vital services and caring people together.
