ImpactLife is looking forward to a blood drive with Montessori Academy for Peace in Decatur, Illinois that's being spearheaded by a cancer survivor who has firsthand experience of the lifesaving difference blood transfusions can make.

"One time I was really low, probably about in the middle of my chemo," says Vincent Clayton, an Instructional Assistant at Montessori Academy for Peace. "I needed two units of blood. I said if I get through this I’m gonna do something to give back. I’m a living witness. You never know who you’re going to impact when you give blood."

See Vincent share his story about his battle with stage 4 non-Hodgkins lymphoma, below.

Donors in Decatur can help support the cause at Montessori Academy for Peace on Monday, Sept. 15 or at the Decatur Donor Center. To book an appointment, call (800) 747-5401, text LIFESAVER 999-777, or use the buttons below to schedule online.
