We're stronger together! That means we need you to roll up your sleeve and support all the Sickle Cell Warriors out there.
Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is the most common hereditary disorder and affects over 100,000 Americans, predominately people of African, Middle Eastern, Grecian, Indian, and Latin American descent. Although there is no cure for SCD, blood transfusions (supplied exclusively by volunteer blood donors like you!) are a critical part of treatment.
September is Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month, so throughout the month, donate at any of ImpactLife's Iowa locations and let the staff know you're here for Sickle Cell Awareness or give the group code 5755. That way we'll know if you're here to support Sickle Cell Warriors everywhere.
