ImpactLife announces the appointment of Gregory Lehmann as the blood center’s Vice President, Donor Outreach and Collections. The position oversees departments responsible for marketing and communications, donor recruitment, donor promotions, scheduling, and blood collection. Lehmann came to ImpactLife from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he has worked in leadership roles for the last ten years. He joined ImpactLife in early June, reporting to Chief Operating Officer Katie Marchik.

Lehmann has provided leadership in clinical operations throughout the bulk of his career, with a focus on team performance and quality patient care. He began his career with UnityPoint Health in 2007 before moving to Iowa Health Care in 2016. His most recent role was Department Administrative Officer for Radiology, where he led more than 500 team members in radiology services across multiple hospital locations. 

“Greg has a proven track record in the healthcare industry leading large operational divisions with a focus on performance, collaboration and process improvement,” said Katie Marchik, Chief Operating Officer. “And he is passionate about serving patients, communities, and teams by removing barriers to optimal performance to create consistent quality outcomes.”

Lehmann is a native of Moline, Illinois who earned his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University. He completed the University of Iowa’s Executive Masters of Health Administration while working in leadership roles for University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2016. 

“I have been grateful throughout my career to work with people who take tremendous pride in the mission, people, and communities they serve,” said Lehmann. “I see that in abundance at ImpactLife and look forward to getting to know more of the people who carry out this important work across our four-state service area.”
