Lieutenant Governor Julianna Stratton“Every day, patients across Illinois rely on the generosity of blood donors to receive lifesaving care, from emergency situations to ongoing medical treatments,” said Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton (right). “Maintaining a strong and stable blood supply is not just a healthcare priority—it’s a reflection of who we are as a community. When we choose to give, we are choosing to stand with our neighbors in their most critical moments. I encourage all Illinoisans who are able to make an appointment and donate blood.”

To schedule an appointment for blood donation, donors can contact Kevin Beck with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor at kevin.beck@illinois.gov or (217) 670-3587. Or, schedule online at https://login.bloodcenter.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/142341. Those unable to donate at the Capitol Complex on Thursday, may schedule appointments at the ImpactLife Donor Center in Springfield (1999 Wabash Ave.) by calling (800) 747-5401 or online at www.bloodcenter.org.
