AMERICA NEEDS BLOOD DONORS
Every day, patients across the country need blood—after accidents, during surgeries, and throughout cancer treatment. But too often, the supply doesn't meet the demand. That’s where our community comes in.
Larry Butler donated blood more than 151 times before cancer took him last November. His family is honoring his legacy by hosting the Larry Butler Memorial Blood Drive. Watch their story below.
Summer is an especially challenging time of year for the blood supply. Life gets in the way: Vacations, school breaks, and busy schedules lead to fewer donations, even as the need for blood remains constant.
That’s why we’re asking all of our blood drive coordinators to help us meet the moment by doing Just1More this summer. That could mean hosting Just1More blood drive, recruiting Just1More first time donor, or encouraging Just1More lapsed donor to return. Every additional effort counts, and each one brings us closer to the lifesaving impact our communities depend on.

Donor for Life Rewards
Our Donor for Life program makes giving even more rewarding. With every donation, donors earn points toward ImpactLife gear, recognition, and more, all while making a lifesaving difference.
And don’t forget, hosting a blood drive at one of our Donor Centers qualifies your donors for our summer bonus days! And it's great and easy option to keep donors engaged and earning rewards.
From May 19 - June 8 and June 23- July 6, donors who give at any ImpactLife Donor Center will receive a $20 gift card (or 1,000 bonus points).

Double Your Impact with Good Giving
We’re excited to expand our Good Giving program to make your generosity go even further. Donors can now choose from any 501(c)(3) charity to receive their Good Giving donation. That means more causes supported and more meaningful connections made.

Honoring Heroes for Life
A strong blood supply is critical to emergency care and trauma response. During #EMSWeek, May 18 - 24, we honor our first responders—and recognize that your donations support prehospital transfusion programs and advanced emergency interventions.
Jim Watts (Manager, Regional Development and Government Relations) and Dr. Nida Feller (Emergency Medicine, Memorial Health) spoke to media about why blood is needed all summer. Watch it below.
