Over the past three weeks, the Blood Center has been forced to cancel dozens of blood drives (68, and counting) leading to a loss of more than 2200 donations due to record cold tempatures, snow, and ice.

We can transform a single blood donation into a group of components that can save the lives of up to three patients. Donors who give blood are the heart of what we do, and we are truly appreciative of their life-saving gifts. However, we realize that not everyone is able to give blood, and we are all limited by the number of times we can donate.
