ImpactLife works with emergency medical service providers on pre-hospital transfusion, providing EMS teams with the ability to carry blood components on board air and ground ambulances. Pre-hospital transfusion has been shown to improve patient outcomes when patients can receive a needed unit of blood on the scene of an accident or while en route to the hospital.

Leaving My Mark on Campus
From starting the Redbirds ImpactLife club to working with other clubs to planning blood drives, I have always felt supported and valued. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities they have given me. The work we are doing together is so rewarding.

Many variables can impact our blood inventories such as weather, holidays or tragic events.  Every day, patients who need blood are in crisis and you can help by volunteering to donate.  Less than 10% of the population gives blood, so donors that give on a regular basis are important to meet these needs. Book an appointment today!
